Antique pretty French Rococo style heavy cast pewter desk ink stand

An antique heavy cast metal probably pewter desk set ink stand with very pretty decoration. This antique item is cast with rococo style.
The dished bowl at the front to hold pens has lovely ribbon bow detail, the edge is shaped with curls and scrolls, and the front feet are formed as little bunches of grapes. The lid lifts up to reveal the inkpot.
The piece would make a superb gift item for a lady or gentleman who still practices the art of letter writing. It would also be a fine decorative accessory used with essential oil or a rose bud in the ink receptacle.
Originally the item would probably have had a glass pot liner for the ink. Now it has a tiny antique ceramic pot which was made by Sarraguemines.
Size is approx 17 x 13 x 5 cm.
Underneath is stamped Depose 250, which is a registered design number.

Deliveries to most other European destinations are generally to your doorstep unless it is much cheaper to use Pont Relais.
