Antique pretty French classically styled heavy cast metal desk ink stand

An antique heavy cast metal bronze or brass desk set ink stand with classical decoration.
The dished centre has a hatched motif in a cartouche, the twin lidded ink pots either side have ribbed sides and cast floral finials. To the back of the desk stand fringed fabric draped swags fall from a pierced wreath of flowers and foliage. Further scrolled foliage and harebell flowers provide a decorative border around the stand.
The piece sits on scroll feet with a ribbed border to the platform.

The item would originally have had glass or china ink pots within the lidded pot holes, these sadly have been lost.
The piece would make a superb gift item for a lady or gentleman who still practices the art of letter writing.

Size is approx 23 x 18 cm, and 7.5 cm high.
There are no makers marks or signatures that I can find although it is impressed with Depose 269 which indicates this is a registered design, most likely from the Nineteenth Century..

Deliveries to most other European destinations are generally to your doorstep unless it is much cheaper to use Pont Relais.
***Currently deliveries to the UK may be impacted by Brexit paperwork and procedural delays. This situation is becoming easier as time goes by. The sales tax is being included in any sales so there should be nothing extra due to pay when your parcel arrives, subject to customs clearance.
