Vintage French woven hazel champignons harvest basket panier

A charming vintage or antique French champignons harvest basket with woven hazel twig body and bent hazel branch handle.
The shape is the typical shallow waisted double lobed basket, and this one is slightly squared off at each end.
This rather lovely rustic country-made basket is in used but good vintage condition, perfectly useable for collection, display and storage of eggs, fruits, mushrooms, nuts and other kitchen goodies, or even bathroom soaps & toiletries, office sundries, threads and yarns, crafting supplies... the only limit on its use is your imagination.
Size approx 32cm high, length 53cm, width 33cm
Small amount of wear and minor splitting around the basket where the twigs have dried. There has been a small metal pin or tack added to the handle fixing on one side. Please look at the photos for condition.

We are able to post out parcels from Metropolitan France and shipping fees are shown. Please allow plenty of transit time, as European post is notoriously slow!

Otherwise I will select the shop with the longest opening hours within your area. Deliveries to other European destinations are generally to your doorstep unless very much cheaper from a collection point, we try to offer the best value delivery service for you.

Obvious damage and faults will always be mentioned in our descriptions but minor age-related condition issues are not considered a detriment.
